My fascination for film and photography started early.
By the age of fourteen I had my first picture in the local newspaper. It took me awhile before I started my education. I was studying fine art in Oslo when I was accepted to Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles to study photography. After my education I moved back to Oslo. I had no camera and I was broke. A few months went by and I had my first exhibition. I was in business. I work mainly with portraits, journalism, illustrations and advertising.

My work is a way of living.
Travelling around the world meeting all kinds of people in all kinds of situations
Stealing a piece of them with me….

When you are travelling with youre camera you meet a lot of different people.
Everyone with a unique story to be told.

- Some of the photos from Thailand are when we did a coverage for the magazine KK in 2000.
We had to survive on a desert island outside Koh-Samui, we were there for a week. The only food we brought was fresh water and flour.
Poisonous snakes and tropical storms were some of the ingredients.

- The picture of me in the police car is not when I was arrested but when I was doing a documentary on the L.A.P.D.
